My Approach
Every year, we learn more and more about the crucial link between dental health and systemic health. Everything from genetics and family history of disease to current signs and symptoms of inflammation and infection must be evaluated when determining the proper course of action for our treatment recommendations. We want you to be healthy, not just your mouth.
My Education
I completed my undergraduate degree at Miami University in 2001 in Mechanical Engineering and Business Management. I spent two years working as an engineer in manufacturing before realizing that reducing costs and improving processes was not the way I wanted to spend my life. Looking at options for a career change, I decided that dentistry was the best choice to allow me to solve problems on a daily basis, while helping people get better and feel better about themselves. I graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2007.
My Experience
I am passionate for knowledge, and I have completed over 1000 hours of continuing education to enhance my skills in the most recent advances in dentistry.
- Studied comprehensive occlusion at the SPEAR Center for Dentistry, with a focus on esthetic and functional rehabilitation of worn and damaged teeth.
- A CEREC user since 2007, I have also completed advanced CEREC training at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, allowing for the fabrication of same day in-office crowns, veneers, bridges and implant restorations. Read more about how I incorporate CEREC technology into the practice.
- Over a decade of LASER dentistry experience, I am now a user and trainer for the SOLEA dental LASER, the most advanced LASER available in dentistry today, having completed over 1,000 procedures to date.

When I’m Not Practicing Dentistry
I met my wife, Danielle, during our freshman year at Miami University and we have been together ever since. We were married in 2001 and have three children, Lane, Graham, and Sloane. We love food and wine and traveling to find inventive, creative cuisine and exciting dining experiences. I am an avid golfer, and I volunteer my time with non-profit organizations in our community.
We live in Canton, Ohio, where we enjoy spending summers on the lake – boating, fishing, and relaxing.
