Meet Lauren.
Lauren has been a patient at Akron Smile since she was a little girl.

I've been a patient at Akron Smile for about 7-8 years. I usually come 4-6 times per year and I have never had a complaint. The value and the people who work here are my two main reasons I will continue to go to this office.
Lauren has been a patient since she was a toddler, visiting with her parents. When her permanent teeth finally came in, one of them was impacted in the roof of her mouth. We planned to surgically uncover the tooth and orthodontics to bring it into the arch with the other teeth. This took quite some time, but the end result is amazing. She has graduated college as is working as an adviser for teachers special needs children.

This is Susan.
Susan has been a patient at Akron Smile for almost 25 years.

I’ve been a patient at the office of Dr. Petry and Walton for about 25 years. They, along with their team, have always provided honest, compassionate, and highly competent care. In the beginning, I was very nervous, but they quickly allayed my fears by assuring me that they believe in dentistry without pain. Along with regular dental care, I’ve also undergone orthodontics at their recommendation, as well as a couple of in-office whitening treatments; the results were incredible, beyond what I had hoped for. I’ve entrusted Drs. Petry and Walton with not only my dental care, but with that of my entire family.
She has been a patient in our office since before 2003. We have watched her children grow up and go off to college. Ironically, just when her youngest left for college, she started to turn her attention to herself. She had always been unhappy with her smile, but never had the time to do anything about it. We planned to straighten her teeth with braces, then whiten them, and ultimately place veneers and crowns as a cosmetic final result. As it turns out, when her teeth were straight and white, we both agreed that she didn’t need to undergo any extra cosmetic changes. So straight and whiter is where we stopped!

Meet Hazel.
Hazel has been a patient with Akron Smile for almost 10 years.

When meeting someone new, a first impression is made based on your appearance. A person’s mouth is one of the first things you see. It’s an unfortunate happening, but the first impression always sticks in the back of a person’s mind. Since visiting Dr. Walton’s office my self-esteem has improved because I have a wonderful smile. I smile more because my teeth (I feel) are more attractive. The prettiest thing you can wear is not found in your closet, it is your smile!
Hazel visited us at the recommendation of her long-time boyfriend. She was not pleased with the mismatched components of her smile. We planned to correct the way her bite fit together, then create a cohesive, beautiful smile. We used orthodontics to straighten the lower teeth, then implants and crowns to restore her beautiful smile.
